Keep Calm Craft On {crafting on}

The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link below.

KCCO

Back to knitting I go! I just started working on C's birthday sweater (that I obviously failed to finish before her birthday.) It's another Phoebe Sweater, and this time C got to pick her own color. The first one I knit her literally fell apart. That was due to a poor yarn choice on my part. This time around we are using some Luna Grey so I know all will be well! C knows what her sweater is and is chomping at the bit to wear it so I am trying to concentrate more on this than anything else right now. She thinks I will be able to finish it in time for our friends visit (yay!!) later this week but as confident as she is in my ability, I beg to differ!

What are you working on?! Happy creating!

You've got your knitting in the same bag as me! They are great for storing works in progress in aren't they. I am in the process of making another one to store all my needles in after all you have got to have those to hand too, right?
Good luck finishing in time! I am on a self-imposed knitting deadline and, as usual, it seems to be causing a lot of mistakes... Lots of ripping back:) The color you chose looks gorgeous.
i LOVE that knitting bag! where did you get it??

I actually made it as a gift for C on her birthday. I borrowed it for the pic ;) I used the fabric bucket pattern from maya made and pig fabric and strawberry fabric from Heather Ross.
that is amazing! <3
she picked a gorgeous colour for her birthday sweater!
I agree with everyone else... that project bag is really cute!
I love the colour of the yarn that you and C chose. I keep hearing such great things about Luna Grey from you and Ginny... perhaps I will put in an order the next time I've got some extra money for yarn!
Lovely patterns and color ways! The dress pattern and link was especially helpful.. its nice to see classic, modest and wholesome yet stylish clothing for little girls!

I bought some yummy LGFA yarn too and its super dreamy! I also bought some WMR buttons and they are of equal awesomeness!!! Great suggestions!

Blessings,
Samantha
El sueter precioso, ese color tan vivo, y muy buena idea esa cestita para guardar la labor. Besos desde España.
